It has been a while since I have posted. I deeply have been immersed in supporting a sibling's dying process. My younger sister, Kristine, whom I love so dearly, had been growing weaker and weaker over the past last number of months. While receiving Hospice care during these last weeks, she moved closer and closer to passing, until she recently danced over to move on to her next adventure.
Kristine's passing was filled with her great love, sweet sensitivity, and indomitable passion for freedom. She was so ready to go, and with the surge of independence she often expressed, she went! I will miss her, as will my brother and her dear friends. I dedicate this astrology post to her.
In the night time hours of darkness, our sky shows us the spectacular. Amid all the shimmering stars, it whispers to us through a great peaceful silence. It whispers in our ears to encourage us to see the above as a reflection of who we are as eternal Cosmic Light Beings.
Up there, and deep inside us, is a planetary energy which addresses the beauty, mystery, and sacredness of the dying and birthing process. This energy is associated with Pluto, a powerful Sky Being who addresses the central importance of letting go of the old and giving space for the birthing of the new. Pluto has been dancing in the constellation of Capricorn, which speaks to the form and structure we give to our everyday living. Pluto in Capricorn speaks to ending a substantial aspect of our lives, so we can allow a new and more genuine form of True Self expression to emerge.
Kristine danced with this planetary alignment by releasing her old form. In this case, this was her physical body, which she was very happy to release. She was eager to be fully in her Light Body, in her vaster clearer expression of her Pure and Loving Beingness.
Pluto's placement in Capricorn offers us a powerful gift, too - the gift of choosing to be real with ourselves. To dance elegantly with Pluto, we simply need to be transparent with our own selves and ask, "What do I want to let go of now? What no longer serves me? What is making my life so hard and so heavy?" As we allow ourselves to get this honest, which can feel quite unbearably raw at times, we allow our purity to come through. We begin a transformation process that allows us to dissolve the old and oppressive form of how we live and present ourselves. We go for the Plutonic promise that we will feel and become lighter and lighter, until we become a Butterfly of Beautiful Beingness. If we but let go of control and resistances to our growth.
I feel Kristine just loving this post today, and so, while sensing her vibrationally by my side, I smile and send it off to you!
